Ooredoo, Cisco host networking event for SMEs in Qatar

Ooredoo recently hosted a networking event, in partnership with Cisco, for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Qatar, at the new City Center Rotana Hotel Doha.
The event, which was attended by more than 50 representatives of important SME companies in Qatar, witnessed a series of presentations and live demonstrations of Ooredoo’s new “Business Collaboration Solution.”
With the Business Collaboration Solution, customers can enjoy “superior” mobility and flexibility, enabling them to benefit from advanced collaboration features such as video conferencing, instant messaging, intelligent voicemail, and even the ability to make and receive business landline calls via a mobile phone.
As well as being able to share information and interact with customers, partners and colleagues in real time – saving on cost and travel time to meetings – the service makes it possible to replace a legacy telephony platform with a next-generation hosted collaboration solution, to offer enhanced features and better reliability.
As part of Ooredoo’s growing partnership with Cisco, this relationship was recently enhanced by a new service provider’s certification, awarded to Ooredoo by Cisco. This Cloud and Managed Services Certification (CMSP) confirms Ooredoo’s ability to offer Cisco powered solutions “to the highest standards.” Ooredoo has been a pioneer of introducing world class connectivity, and next-generation business solutions in Qatar such as the Qatar Data Centres, Cloud and managed services and more. Ooredoo aims to continue working with local businesses in Qatar to support the growth of a knowledge-based economy and consolidate its position as an ICT leader in the region. For full details of the solutions available, business customers can arrange a meeting with their account manager or call the business team on 800-8000.
