Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has met HE the Minister of State Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim al-Thani, who is also Board Chairman of the Qatar Charity (QC), in Ankara.
The Minister of State conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Turkish president, and his wishes for further progress to the relations between Qatar and Turkey.
President Erdogan reciprocated the Emir’s greetings.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with the co-operation between Qatar and Turkey in the field of humanitarian relief.
Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim al-Thani inaugurated yesterday a regional office of the Qatar Charity in the Turkish capital Ankara in the presence of a number of Turkish officials.
Ministerial decision
HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi issued a decision yesterday appointing Khalifa Saad al-Derham as director of department of school affairs at the Ministry.
Jordan bans entry of falcons
The Jordanian Ministry of Interior has issued a decision banning the entry of falcons into Jordan, an official source from the Department of Consular Affairs at the Foreign Ministry in Doha said.
