LuLu outlets host Mango Mania 2016

LuLu Hypermarket Group has launched Mango Mania 2016 in Qatar. The festival, which is part of the group’s promotion calendar, was inaugurated by Indian ambassador Sanjiv Arora at LuLu Hypermarket - Al Gharafa yesterday evening in the presence of a number of dignitaries and senior executives from the retail industry and other walks of life. Running for a week at all LuLu Hypermarket outlets in Qatar, this year’s festival features more than 60 mango varieties from India, Yemen, Malaysia, Kenya, Thailand, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Ivory Coast, Puerto Rico, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brazil, the US, Mexico, Sudan, Ghana and Burkina Faso. The highlights of the festival also include “organic mangoes of historical importance” and a range of mango-based products, according to a statement. Fresh stocks of mangoes from these 17 countries have been imported for the festival.

    The best mangoes in the world are pakistani mangoes and those are not included in the list, that is un understandable.
