Nasser Bin Khaled (NBK) Automobiles, the exclusive dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, has sponsored the 13th installment of Project Qatar, which concludes today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
NBK Automobiles was the “official transport partner” of the international exhibition and had supplied a fleet of luxury cars that transported VIP guests to and from the exhibition, and provide transportation solutions to one of Qatar’s largest events.
During Project Qatar 2016, NBK Automobiles launched the Mercedes-Benz Accello and Atego, two new multipurpose trucks, and the new Actros trucks for heavy transportation and services.
NBK Automobiles general manager Khalid Sha’aban said: “NBK Automobiles reiterates its strong connection with the Qatari community and events that enhance the progress of the national economy.
“Project Qatar has acquired international acclaim and embraces various multinational companies from the region and the world, and we are proud to align with this event to provide the best and comfortable transport solutions and services to the VIP guests on board of our modern fleet.”
He added: “During the exhibition, Nasser Bin Khaled launched for the first time two new Mercedes-Benz trucks. The Accelo and the Atego will provide ideal solutions for transportation or multi-usage services, while the well-known Actros truck will prove again its leadership in the heavy duty services.
“We are confident that our trucks will be a benchmark in their field and will meet the requirements and demand of the market especially that it has proved its high capabilities and are distinguished with latest technology and systems.”
The Accelo and Atego provide all kinds of applications, including cargo body, cargo box, beverage distributer, flatbed cargo body, refrigerator body, tipper, and car rescue truck.
The Accelo is a compact, robust and versatile distribution truck with strong drivetrain to face all challenges of transport. Made for urban distribution and service, it is distinguished with its compact cab that is modern and comfortable.
It is strong and reliable powertrain that creates the base for productivity and economy for any transport task. Its reliable, robust, and economic Mercedes-Benz Engine of 4 cylinder/4 litres generates maximum power of 150hp and maximum torque of 580Nm.
The Atego has a robust and reliable truck chassis for distribution and short-distance transport that is distinctive with it spacious cab. Like the Accelo, the Atego is made for urban distribution and service, and is distinguished with its compact cab that is modern and comfortable.
The Atego has a powertrain with large gear-spread for high flexibility regarding applications and low operational cost. It comes with Mercedes-Benz Engines 6.4l -6cyl (245 hp). Its mechanical specs include double-speed Mercedes-Benz Rear Axle, ABS brake system.
