Qatar Charity (QC) Board chairman HE Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim al-Thani has inaugurated the Islamic Centre in Piacenza city, northern Italy. The Piacenza Islamic Centre serves the Muslim and local communities, and consists of buildings including a mosque which accommodates more than 600 worshippers and multi-purpose halls for seminars, lectures and various activities such as Ramadan Iftar. Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser said in remarks on the occasion that the opening of this centre reflected Qatar Charity’s vision as a leading developmental and humanitarian organisation.
