Vodafone recognises top retail staff performers

More than 50 of Vodafone’s top retail staff performers were recognised at a ceremony in Doha recently.
Present on the occasion were Vodafone Qatar CEO Ian Gray and COO Mohamed al-Sadah, along with a number of staff members representing the company’s leadership team.
“Imtiaz”, which stands for “excellence”, has been running at Vodafone Qatar since 2013. The bi-annual event includes a two-phase competition during which all of Vodafone’s sales and retail stores staff members are evaluated based on a variety of criteria that meet the company’s commercial targets and “The Vodafone Way” of doing business - at the essence of which lie “customer obsession, speed, trust and simplicity”, the company has said in a statement.
The “Imtiaz” criteria include customer experience, revenue and efficiency.
The event was marked by a host of shows and entertainment, with Vodafone employees celebrating amid “much cheer, excitement and surprises”, the statement adds.
“We’re very happy to be celebrating this important milestone with our retail colleagues and we’d like to congratulate not only the top performers, but every single person in our front line for their outstanding and relentless efforts to ensure Vodafone’s success and exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Gray.
“We’ve crafted the ‘Imtiaz’ programme in line with our commitment to honour our people, who are a key pillar that drives us forward. Vodafone’s employees are also our ambassadors and, therefore, recognising and awarding them is our priority,” he added.
