Doha Bank announces summer cashback offers

Doha Bank has said that, for the sixth consecutive year, its credit cardholders can celebrate the summer, Ramadan and Eid season by taking advantage of some “rewarding offers.”
Throughout the holiday season, running until July 31, hotel, resort and villa bookings made with an eligible Doha Bank credit card on www.booking.com of up to QR2,500 or more in value, will entitle the cardholder to a QR200 shopping voucher from Qatar’s first and only e-mall - www.dohasooq.com
All eligible cardholders passing through Hamad International Airport to catch their flights can enjoy a 10% discount across all Qatar Duty Free retail outlets and kiosks at the departure terminal.
Upon arrival at their destination, Doha Bank credit cardholders travelling on holiday or business in June will be rewarded with 5% cashback on all foreign currency transactions each time they use their credit cards overseas.
“From purchases made while dining in London, buying designer-wear in chic Manhattan boutiques or shopping for local delicacies at a supermarket in Thailand - any purchase or cash withdrawal made internationally while on holiday will be handsomely rewarded,” the bank said in a statement yesterday.
Those returning to Qatar in time to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, and using their credit cards for a minimum of QR5,000 per month - be it on new clothes, groceries, dining, electronics, home furniture or other goods - will also have a chance to be rewarded with 3% cashback on all local spending in Qatar in June.
Doha Bank Group CEO Dr R Seetharaman said: “By providing Doha Bank customers with attractive cashback rewards, discounts and gift vouchers, we reaffirm our commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.”
Dream, Green, LuLu, Asriya, Platinum or Infinite cardholders must spend at least QR5,000 each month to be eligible for cashback for that particular month.
To apply for a Doha Bank credit card and make use of the cashback rewards this summer, one has to SMS ‘DREAM’, ‘PLAT’ or ‘LULU’ while women may SMS ASRIYA to 92610  to arrange for a visit to their home or office by the sales team. Alternatively, one can visit any Doha Bank branch to apply.
