For the third consecutive year, Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah for Human Services – RAF and LuLu Hypermarket have launched a Qatar Ramadan Marketing Project, ‘Shop & Donate.’
LuLu Group has promised to hand over up to 10% of the profits of more than 300 goods to RAF during the Ramadan period in order to support the projects the latter is implementing for the benefit of the poor and the needy.
The project, which began yesterday in all branches of LuLu Hypermarket Company - Qatar – this year includes the construction of a charity market for hundreds of goods, starting from the last week of Shaaban month till the end of Ramadan, under the title ‘Shop & Donate.’
The renewal of the partnership was announced at a press conference at the RAF office by general manager Dr Mohamed Salah Ibrahim and LuLu companies regional director Shaijan M O, regional manager Shanavas P M and commercial executive Sanju Philip.
Dr Ibrahim described the continuing partnership as an excellent example of co-operation between both commercial and human sectors.
“If we launched the initiative two years ago with just one branch of LuLu Hypermarket Company in Qatar, today it has been expanded to all the branches in the country,” he recalled.
Shaijan expressed his happiness in the success of the charity partnership with RAF establishment, and said this year it would include electrical devices and home accessories.
Shanavas thanked the customers for their acceptance and generosity towards the social cause.
