New Salata road diversion

Street diversions for three months in New Salata

Diversions will be in place near Al Zaman Mosque and Tariq bin Siyad Secondary Schools (on Al Maahed and Asim bin Thabit Streets respectively) in New Salata for the three months starting Thursday.

Asim bin Thabit Street will be partially closed. One lane will remain open to traffic towards Al Maahed Street (Eastbound). Westbound traffic from Al Maahed Street towards Asim bin Thabit Street will also be closed.
The intersection between Asim bin Thabit and Wajbat Salman streets will also be closed. Traffic will be diverted to Al Maahed Street (as is shown in the picture).
The intersection between Asim bin Thabit and Al Salama streets will also be closed. Traffic will be diverted to Al Sena Street.
Traffic on both directions of Al Maahed Street will be maintained. No parking would be allowed on either side of the street.
The diversion is required to implement construction works of the infrastructure as part of the roads and infrastructure projects of New Salata.
