Tanveer’s all-round show steered Al Feroz Youngsters to QCA Super Cup 2016 title, with a comprehensive 52-run victory over HBK in the final.
At the Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Industrial Area, Tanveer first smashed a scintillating 74. During the chase later, he emerged as the wrecker-in-chief grabbing five HBK wickets, which fetched him the man of the final award.

Batting first, Al Feroz Youngsters made 164 for five in 20 overs. Besides Tanveer’s knock, Qalandar made 23, while Inam and Noman contributed 20 each. Mughees, Ajantha and Joseph bagged a wicket each.
HBK failed to negotiate the accurate bowling of Tanveer and they collapsed to 112 all out. Dilshari and Ajantha put up the strongest resistance, hitting 36 and 22, respectively. Nimantha got 15 and Joseph made 10. Apart from Tanveer, Mujeeb, Inam, Nadeem and Noman took a wicket each.
