Mannai Trading Co has been appointed as the authorised distributor for Grundfos, a leading pump manufacturer, in Qatar.
With this, Mannai Trading Co will be responsible for the sales development of Grundfos products for the water utility and infrastructure sectors. Mannai is also authorised to serve the HVAC market with relevant Grundfos products and provide the warranty and service for all Grundfos pumps supplied in the above segments in line with the manufacturer’s standard terms and conditions.
Grundfos has announced its expansion in Qatar towards the development and support of the water utility and infrastructure sector, bringing its range of pump solutions to the market, according to a statement.
Founded in 1945 in Bjerringbro, a small town in Denmark, Grundfos has expanded its production to over 40 countries. Today, Grundfos is represented by 19,000 employees in over 50 countries worldwide with revenues of above €3bn. “Additionally, Grundfos has a strong local presence through its distributors and partners. With an annual production of more than 16mn pump units serving systems within buildings, industry, waste utilities, infrastructure, landscaping and water treatment, Grundfos is a trendsetter in water technology,” the statement noted.
Mannai Trading Co, a member of Mannai Corporation, has been operating in the Qatari market since the 1950s with more than 5,000 employees, the statement notes.
