Oryx GTL has held a dialogue with its Qatari employees during the biannual forum, Tawasol Day, which is part of a programme that promotes transparency and openness between management and staff.
Held under the patronage of Oryx GTL CEO Sheikh Thani bin Thamer al-Thani, the event’s purpose was to communicate with employees, bring them closer to senior management, provide a forum to discuss their concerns and to follow up on their training and development schemes.
The staff also presented their suggestions, enquiries and concerns on a wide range of topics. Sheikh Thani, along with other officials, answered the employees’ questions and committed to review certain issues that were raised in the discussion.
Also, certificates of appreciation were presented to outstanding employees across all fields to acknowledge their commitment and encourage them to continue their good work.
The meeting also included a lecture from Salah al-Yafei, who discussed “Inspirational Motivation”.
