Ahli Bank, Dareen tie up for rewards programme

Ahli Bank has partnered with Dareen International, a leading retail franchise operator in the Middle East with over 100 outlets in Qatar representing 35 brands, for its credit card ‘Pearl’ rewards programme.
Ahli Bank credit cardholders can now redeem their ‘Pearl’ points at any of the 104 Dareen outlets located in major shopping centres across Qatar, including Starbucks, H&M, Mothercare, NEXT, Debenhams, PF Chang’s, Boots, American Eagle Outfitters and MAC.
The bank’s credit cardholders can redeem their ‘Pearl’ points against purchase of wide range of products as baby products, kids clothing, toys, fashion clothing, footwear, electronics, home furnishings and gift items.
“Expanding our Pearl rewards partners gives our customers greater choice to redeem their Pearl points and is a significant element of our strategy to provide our customers with the most personal banking experience,” Ahli Bank deputy chief executive (Retail Banking) Hassan al-Efrangi said.
On the bank’s tie up with Dareen International, he said this now means that Ahli Bank credit cardholders can redeem their ‘Pearl’ points in over 200 outlets across Qatar, including 104 Dareen outlets located in major shopping locations.
“We have focused over the last two years on enhancing our credit card proposition, which we see as a leader in the market,” he added.
Mark Rigby, chief communication officer at Dareen International said the partnership with Ahli Bank would enable it to deliver a richer and more rewarding shopping experience to its customers in Qatar, giving them the chance to enjoy more benefits than ever at their favourite brands.
“At Dareen, we’re continually working to offer our customers the widest range of shopping and dining experiences, and the best quality products and service, through our portfolio of international brands,” he said.
