Premier holds talks with Omani deputy PM

HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and Omani Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers Affairs Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said held a session of official talks at the Premiership headquarters in the capital Muscat yesterday.
The talks dealt with the relations between Qatar and Oman and ways of developing them in various fields, especially in economy and investment areas.
The two sides also reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
The session was attended by the ministers and members of the official delegation accompanying HE the Prime Minister.
On the Omani side, the session was attended by a number of ministers.
Earlier on arrival in Muscat on a one-day visit, the Prime Minister and Interior Minister was welcomed at the Sultani Airport by Omani Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers Affairs Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Qatar’s ambassador to Oman Ali bin Fahd al-Hajri, a number of heads of diplomatic missions in the Sultanate, senior civilian and military officials and staff members of Qatar’s embassy in Oman.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister was accorded an official reception ceremony.
