The Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the French embassy in Doha have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which the Education and Cultural Section at the mission will provide technical support for the development of French language teaching in a number of independent secondary schools. The MoU was signed for the ministry by Education Institute director Fawzia al-Khater and for the French embassy by Oliver D, technical and academic counsellor at the Cultural Department. Al-Khater explained that the objective of the MoU was to benefit from the expertise of technical and academic counsellor of the embassy in promoting the French language curriculum in independent schools.
