The Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced special evening and weekend hours at 14 of its branches during the holy month of Ramadan.
All QIB branches will be open from Sunday to Thursday from 9am to 2pm, while selected branches located at Al Fanar, Salwa Road, Airport Road, Al Gharafa, Al Rayyan, Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Muaither and Al Khor will operate in the evenings from Sunday to Wednesday from 9pm to 11.30pm, and on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12 noon.
The bank’s branches at Dar Al Salam Mall, The Gate Mall, City Centre and Medina Centrale -The Pearl will be open from Saturday to Thursday from 10.30am to 2.30pm, and in evenings every day from 9pm to 11.30pm.
QIB aims to provide a convenient experience for all banking clients in Qatar. Providing evening and weekend shifts during Ramadan enables customers to complete their banking needs easily and efficiently. In addition, QIB services are available 24/7 through Internet banking, QIB mobile app, call centre, and more than 165 ATMs and cash deposit machines across the country.
QIB operates a network of 31 branches across Qatar. The bank recently modernised its four largest branches - Fanar, Salwa Road, Al Khor, and Al Rayyan, and is engaged in a phased rollout of the updated design at its other key branches.
The new design reflects a modern interpretation of the traditional Islamic values of purity, simplicity, and transparency. Each branch has a special section set aside for the bank’s valued Tamayuz clients, and a separate area for female customers to enjoy complete privacy.
