Emir sends condolences to Saudi king

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani  has sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, on the death of Princess Lulua bint Saud bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.  
Separately, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah  bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al -Thani have also sent cables of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the death of Princess Lulua bint Saud bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.

Emir to visit Kuwait today
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will leave for Kuwait today on a short visit to meet the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah.

Muntazah health centre to remain closed on June 12, 13
The Primary Health Care Corporation has announced that Al Muntazah Health Centre will remain closed on June 12 and 13 as it is moving to the new premises at Rawdat Al Khail which is very close to the present health centre.
The new health centre will be open for visitors on June 14.
The Corporation has taken all the necessary measures with the administration of Umm Ghwailina, Airport, OBK and Al Thumama  health centres, to provide healthcare to the patients of Al Muntazah Health Centre on both the days.

Emir exchanges Ramadan greetings
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has exchanged greetings with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and King Abdullah of Jordan, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan .

Minister visits GCSE panel
HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi has directed officials of the committee controlling General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams of the Evaluation Institute to take necessary measures to deal with the difficulties faced by the students while taking exams.
The Minister gave the directive while on a visit to the committee’s headquarters where he was briefed about the progress of its work.
The Minister  visited Al Wakrah Secondary School and inspected the progress of secondary school certificate exams in the Arabic language subject.
He also visited Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Preparatory School where he learned about the performance of students in science subject as part of national examinations.
