The entrance and exit of Lusail Street from Labhariya Street will be closed for 18 months from tomorrow (June 10).
With the local access to entrance and exit of the Lusail Street closed, travellers to The Pearl-Qatar and Doha should use the signalised junction that connects Legtaifiya Street to the Lusail Street.
Road users in the local area can access the Lusail Street by using Wadi Rawdan Street and Legtaifiya Street (as shown on the attached map).
The closure until the end of 2017 will allow for the implementation of storm water drainage network and permanent road works on the Lusail Expressway. With a reduction of traffic volume on Al Istiqlal Street, the authorities are expecting better flow of traffic between The Pearl-Qatar and Doha.
