HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani inaugurated yesterday morning the Integrated Surgery Centre at Hamad General Hospital.
The Prime Minister toured the centre where he was briefed about the healthcare services, modern devices, operation rooms, intensive care units, CT and MRI rooms and EEG Laboratory.
The Prime Minister was also briefed by a number of doctors and medical professionals about the services offered by the centre, which is located on an area of 10,000 square metres and includes 20 operation rooms equipped with the latest technology and two intensive care units for accident injuries and surgery.
This would increase the capacity of surgery services provided at Hamad Medical Corporation.
