The Ramadan Sports Festival in Aspire Zone was launched on Friday. A number of exciting
matches was held in the men’s football tournament at the Aspire Zone Warm Up track, the men’s basketball tournament and the Staff Futsal tournament at Aspire Dome. The ladies tennis tournament was conducted at Aspire Zone’s Tennis Courts.
The Ramadan Sports Festival includes 13 tournaments in 11 different sports including volleyball for men and women, junior futsal, table tennis for persons with special needs, beach soccer, cricket and more. The festival will continue to be held daily after Taraweeh prayer in Aspire Zone’s various venues and facilities until the 19th of Ramadan (June 24) with the participation of 90 teams in different sports.
