Antalya, Turkey: Qatar’s Ibraheem al-Mohannadi has qualified for stage 3 of the Archery World Cup 2016, the qualifying round for the Rio Olympics.
The competition started on Sunday and will be held till June 19, with the participation of 220 athletes.
Al-Mohannadi concluded his final training session at the Lusail Shooting Complex. Al-Mohannadi underwent an intensive training camp in Korea last month, where he took part in friendly competitions which had a big role in improving his performance.
Al-Mohannadi said that tournament in Turkey will be a challenging one and that all the participants will be seeking to secure a spot for Rio Olympics, which will be held in August. He added that it is a great opportunity for him to compete against the world finest archers.
