Japan’s ambassador to Qatar, Shingo Tsuda (left), poses with Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) secretary general Dr Thani al-Kuwari at QOC headquarters in Doha on Sunday. During the meeting, Tsuda and Dr al-Kuwari discussed co-operation in the field of sports between the two countries and means to further enhance it. Talks touched upon the various opportunities for co-operation ahead of the two big sport events — Tokyo Olympics 2020 and 2022 FIFA World Cup. Tsuda, in collaboration with Japan Foundation, donated 12 books on judo, kendo and aikido to the Olympic Committee.
