Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has held a Ramadan Ghabga banquet for its employees and their families.
The event, which took place in the Ramadan tent at Four Seasons Hotel Doha, was attended by QIB Group CEO Bassel Gamal and the executive management team as well as the guest of honour, Sheikh Sulaiman al-Jubailan.
The event, a regular feature in QIB’s calendar, aims to celebrate Ramadan traditions and to strengthen relations and understanding of the true spirit of the holy month.
Commenting on the occasion, Gamal said: “We are delighted to have hosted our annual Ramadan Ghabga, which has become a key annual event in our calendar. QIB organised this event as part of its efforts to enhance social and entertainment activities for its employees. I would like to thank all employees and their families for their active participation in the event and their valuable contribution towards making this event a success.”
Speaking at the event, Sheikh Sulaiman stressed the importance of respecting Islamic values that call for amity and love and to elevate humanity, offering real-life examples from his personal experience.
The evening featured a question-and-answer session, followed by a raffle draw and prizes for children.
