Qatar Solar Technologies (QSTec) has begun, as part of the Katara Ramadan events, its third campaign for the award-winning Shams Generation educational initiative.
The Katara workshops, which started on Wednesday and continued yesterday, will resume tomorrow at Hall 19, Katara – the Cultural Village and run until June 25. Children can participate in building solar lanterns every evening after Iftar, from 8pm to 10pm.
Meanwhile, QSTec has also announced that children can celebrate Garangao with its Shams Generation initiative at Qatar Foundation’s Garangao Night celebrations, to be held at the Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre today.
