HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met with Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir at Al Bahr Palace yesterday evening. The talks dealt with aspects of co-operation between the two countries and means of enhancing bilateral ties. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues and latest regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies ministers. From the Sudanese side, it was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the Sudanese president. HH the Emir held an Iftar banquet in honour of the Sudanese President and his accompanying delegation. Earlier, President Bashir was received at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Finance Ali Sherif al-Emadi.
