HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul. The Emir, who was on a short official visit to Turkey on Sunday, discussed with President Erdogan strategic relations between the two countries and ways to develop them further in various fields. During their meeting, which was held at the Presidential Huber Palace in Istanbul on Sunday evening, the two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments. They also discussed the two countries’ efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations in order to achieve security and peace in the region and the world. HH the Emir returned to Doha yesterday morning.
