Katara will host the final of its Beach Volleyball Championship tonight.
The match, to be played between Katara and Um-Ghwailenah, will be held from 10.30pm.
Earlier, at 9.30pm, the third-fourth playoff pits Sharq against Najma.
The tournament has been organised by the Cultural Village Foundation’s Beach Management and the matches are taking place at the Katara beach.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, Katara defeated Najma while Um-Ghwailenah won against Sharq.
Um-Ghwailenah captain Khalifa Salim al-Maal said it is a big achievement for his team and while the tournament has been challenging, they are hopeful of winning the title this year.
The 2016 edition of the beach volleyball championship has witnessed the participation of 12 teams, including the 2015 champions, Katara.
