HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani made an inspection tour of Msheireb Rail Station, the main station of the Doha Metro project, during which he was briefed on the progress of the work.
During the visit, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was given a detailed explanation by the officials of Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) on what has been achieved.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior praised the progress accomplished in the course of work on the Doha Metro project, stressing the need to exert all efforts in order to finish it on time.
He commended the efforts being exerted by Qatar Rail, including the company’s leadership and all the employees.
The project comes in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and reflects Qatar’s concern about major infrastructure projects.
