Qatar has signed a contract for the purchase of ‘Super Mushshak’ trainer aircraft from Pakistan.
The contract was signed by HE the Commander of Al Zaeem Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, Brigadier (Pilot) Salem Hamad al-Nabet and Deputy Chairman of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) AirVice-Marshal Arshad Malik.
Brig al-Nabet expressed his pleasure at signing the contact, noting that the new aircraft will provide the support needed to train pilot candidates in the College and will give a great impetus to the development of the training process.
He hailed the unlimited support which Al Zaeem Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College enjoys from HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
He also thanked HE the Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Dr Khlid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah who takes keen interest in training and education in the armed forces and in preparing qualified cadres of Qatari pilots annually.
The signing ceremony was attended by Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar Shahzad Ahmed and several senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.
