More benefits in store for LuLu-Doha Bank credit cardholders

Doha Bank, in partnership with LuLu Hypermarket Group, has announced added value to all LuLu-Doha Bank credit cardholders shopping during this Ramadan season.
All LuLu-Doha Bank shopping credit cardholders who use their co-brand cards at LuLu Barwa City will receive 10% off on purchases of groceries, fresh food, sweets and confectionery, cosmetics, smartphones, televisions, household items, and all other “festive items” until July 17.
For every QR1 spent with the LuLu-Doha Bank credit card on any essential or luxury item within the LuLu Barwa City Hypermarket, cardholders will receive two shopping points back, which can be redeemed within all LuLu stores to enjoy more free shopping on everything from freshly baked food to house-hold items and electronics.
LuLu-Doha Bank shopping cardholders who make purchases over QR1,000 on their credit cards also have the added flexibility and convenience to convert these transactions to a 0% payment plan.
Purchases for over QR1,000 made on the LuLu-Doha Bank shopping credit card at LuLu can be repaid over six months in easy equal instalments at no additional interest.
The promo, Doha Bank said, “is undoubtedly the most rewarding shopping credit card,” and customers have enjoyed “unbeatable value” on the card since day one across all LuLu outlets.
While all other LuLu stores will continue to offer 5% savings on every purchase, purchases outside LuLu also enables card members to save 1%.
Dr R Seetharaman, CEO of Doha Bank, said: “This unique card of ours guarantees our customers a 5% savings each time they shop at LuLu, and with this promotion, we have doubled the savings to let customers enjoy 10% during the holy month at Barwa City, so that customers can truly celebrate shopping.
“What’s more, with Doha Bank’s annual summer promotion now in full swing, LuLu cardholders also benefit by saving an additional 5% on all overseas spending, which includes 5% savings at all LuLu hypermarkets across the world. It is for this reason that the card was awarded the ‘Best Credit Card in the Middle East Region’ by the prestigious Banker Magazine.”
Mohamed Althaf, Group director of the LuLu Hypermarket chain, said: “The savings of 10% at LuLu Barwa City, which was launched on May 18 along with the opening of our Barwa City electronics division, is the only one-of-its-kind in the industry. We are delighted to partner with Doha Bank to extend this offer until July 17 so that cardholders can enjoy their Ramadan shopping.”
All cards applied for are free for the first year.
To apply, SMS ‘LULU’ and send to 92610 or visit any LuLu Hypermarket or Doha Bank branch.
