New-look Xperia smartphones launched

Qatar’s leading department store Fifty One East and Sony Mobile Communications have launched a new-look Xperia smartphones – Xperia X and Xperia XA.
The Xperia X series embodies Sony Mobile’s new brand vision through adding new layers of intelligent technology across popular and acclaimed Xperia features, such as camera, battery and design.
The all-new Predictive Hybrid Autofocus in Xperia X is developed in close collaboration with Sony’s Alpha camera engineers. Once a subject is chosen, the system predicts its motion, thereby capturing the action in perfect focus.
Xperia X series incorporates Sony’s smart battery management to deliver up to two days battery life. The series benefits from a battery lifespan that is up to twice as long with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology and Sony’s smart battery management system. Each phone is powered to make the most of their advanced capabilities, with Xperia X featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor.
Each X series smartphone brings a curved glass display within a rounded, continuous frame that feels comfortable. The unified design concept is also extended to Xperia XA, which features a stunning edge-to-edge display.
Xperia X and Xperia XA each have a range of matching style covers and come in White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold. They feature RM-X7BT in-car Bluetooth commander, enabling wireless music streaming and hands-free smartphone functions.
It consists of two units – an ‘adaptor’ module that enables wireless audio streaming and hands-free calls, and a ‘commander’ facilitates smartphone functions such as navigation.
The Xperia X and Xperia XA are now available at Fifty One East store located in Al Maha Centre on Salwa Road in addition to all branches of Virgin Megastore as well as major retailers in Qatar.
