Foreign Minister issues decisions

HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani yesterday issued the following decisions:
1. Decision to appoint Rashid bin Khalida al-Khalifa as an adviser to the Foreign Minister.
2. Decision appointing Dr Ahmed bin Hassan Malallah as secretary-general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3. Decision appointing Saad bin Ali Saad al-Kharji as head of the Foreign Minister’s Office.


Qatar, Bosnia sign labour pact minutes


Qatar and Bosnia and Herzegovina exchanged ratification documents of an agreement regulating the employment of workers from the latter at the Foreign Ministry headquarters yesterday.
The minutes of the exchange of instruments of ratification were signed by the Director of European Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, ambassador Khaled bin Rashid al-Mansouri, and the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Qatar Tarik Sadovic.

Ramadan dinner



Retaj group organised its annual Ramadan dinner party (Ghabga) in the presence of board chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Eid al-Thani, vice-chairman and managing director Dr Mohamed bin Johar al-Mohamed, members of the board of directors Nesf bin Mohamed al-Buainain, Mohamed bin Bakhit al-Marri, Mohamed Hesham al-Chaar and Retaj Hotels & Hospitality CEO Dr Kamal Senhadji. The ceremony was also attended by the head of departments, hotels general managers and staff. During the dinner, Amer bin Mohamed al-Jabri, a former member of the board of directors was honoured in recognition of his efforts during his tenure. Several gifts were distributed to Retaj’s employees including Umra awards and many other prizes.
