Ahlibank has announced the winner of its “Al Rabeh Savings Scheme” QR1mn prize draw for the second quarter of 2016, the bank announced in a statement.
The winner of the prize draw, which was conducted in the presence of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), was Qatari citizen Waleed Mubarak Aman.
Hassan al-Efrangi, Ahlibank deputy CEO (Retail Banking), said: “I am delighted to congratulate and present the Q2 2016 winners cheque for QR1mn to Waleed Mubarak.”
“We are proud of the positive feedback provided by Mr Mubarak, a long standing customer of 11 years, about the products and services we provide to our customers. This is another example of our commitment to provide the best banking services for our customers and to be at the heart of the community.”
Mubarak said: “I was delighted when I received a call from the bank, which informed me that I had won the quarterly QR1mn prize. I have been dealing with Ahlibank for more than 11 years, and I am very satisfied with my relationship and the services they provide. I believe Ahlibank has been transparent with customers and offers the best products, services and provides excellent customer service. I will continue saving at Ahlibank.”
Ahlibank customers are eligible for entry into the prize draw by depositing QR500 for a minimum of seven days in either an Al Rabeh Savings Account or by investing in a savings certificate (This is the shortest qualifying period and the lowest balance required for a bank prize draw of this kind in Qatar).
Customers with an Al Rabeh Savings Account have the chance to enter the weekly, monthly, and quarterly – with an additional prize draw entry for each QR500 invested.
They also enjoy regular interest on their savings - the highest interest rate compared to similar savings schemes of this type.
Additionally, customers can take part by purchasing Al Rabeh Savings Certificates in QR500 units from any Ahlibank branch. Every QR500 represents a chance to win under the scheme.
