Light rain forecast in western parts of Qatar

There is a chance of light rain in some places in the western parts of Qatar on Tuesday, the Met department has said.
In a post on social media on Monday, the weather office said local cloud formation was expected over ?‎Qatar? on Tuesday afternoon.
It also continues to be very humid in the country, with the Met department observing on Monday evening that the humidity levels had reached 86% in the Hamad airport area and 84% in Al Wakrah and Al Ruwais.
The detailed forecast for inshore areas is that it will be hazy to misty in some places in the early hours of Tuesday. Humid conditions are expected and there is also a weak chance of light rain in some areas lying to the west.
Offshore areas, meanwhile, are likely to see misty conditions.
The highest temperature in the country on Monday was 48C, which was recorded in Shehaimiya (northwest Qatar), followed by 46C in Jumayliyah. In the capital, the mercury level reached a high of 41C in the Qatar University area.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature will be 43C in Abu Samra and 42C in Doha and Dukhan, according to the weather report.
