The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon receiving the Adviser at the Emiri Diwan and Qatar’s candidate for post of director-general of the Unesco, HE Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, the president of the 13th UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on the sidelines of the 14th conference, currently underway in Nairobi. During the meeting, Ban Ki-moon conveyed to Dr al-Kuwari his greetings to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. He also thanked the State of Qatar for its presidency of UNCTAD 13 during the past four years.
