Extra features in new-look Ooredoo app

Ooredoo has announced that its award-winning Ooredoo mobile app has undergone “a massive revamp,” the company said in a statement.
The Ooredoo mobile app, which was launched in April 2013, has been one of the most popular apps in Qatar since its launch and has been downloaded over 600,000 times, the statement said.
Offering an unprecedented quality of self-service for Qatar’s consumers, the new Ooredoo app enables users to view and manage all their Ooredoo accounts, including Hala, Shahry, Ooredoo Passport, and more on the go, at home or abroad.
With a more efficient service, users can now see detailed account usage reports and select the service they really need, based on the amount of data or minutes they have consumed. With the new app, users can even fully-customise their Hala or Shahry account at the touch of a button, by upgrading, downgrading, adding data plans, International Saver Key options, and more.
Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director, Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “The Ooredoo app is one of the most used services in Qatar, and gives its users control over their services, something we are very proud to enable. We believe that everyone should have access to their usage information, as well as browse the best plans to save them money, which is why we are continuing to invest in making the service as good as it can be.”
The mobile app is available for free download on iTunes App Store or Google Play for customers who have iOS or Android smartphones now. For more information about the Ooredoo mobile app, visit www.ooredoo.qa/app
