El Jaish sign Hamza on loan from Al Sadd

QSL side El Jaish has announced the signing of Al Sadd prospect Hamza Sanhaji on a six-month loan deal. The young attacker has also signed a contract extension with Al Sadd till 2021.
Hamza was seen as an ideal replacement for Wagner Ribero, who has just completed a loan move to fellow QSL side Al Arabi. With El Jaish also competing in the AFC Champions League, the signing of Hamza will be seen as a vital boost to the squad ahead of their September quarter-final clash against Al Nassr of the UAE.
El Jaish have been prolific in the local loan market over the summer. He is the fourth signing at the Soldiers, following the loan signings of Mohammed al-Yazeedi from Al Kharaitiyat and the Lekhwiya duo of Dame Traoré and Ahmed Abdul Maqsoud.

Wagner joins Al Arabi
Al Arabi has continued to strengthen their squad ahead of the new QSL season, announcing the signing of El Jaish midfielder Wagner Ribero. Wagner was greeted to the club last evening by Al Arabi vice chairman Jassim al-Kuwari, and put pen to paper on a one year loan deal.
The signing of Wagner represents a busy week for Al Arabi, who has also welcomed midfielder Luis Jiminez and new head coach Gerardo Pelusso to the club.
Al Arabi have been particularly busy in the local transfer market this summer with the accusation of Wagner now the third high profile local signing by the Dream Team from El Jaish.
The former Qatari international now also joins defenders Rami Fayez and Mohammed Jumma at the club. In other news, Iranian international Ashkan Dejagah returned to training. Arabi are now set to train in Doha till the 30th of July, before heading to their pre-season camp in Nuremberg, Germany till 26th of August.

Koua faces injury lay off
Lekhwiya have been handed an injury blow ahead of the new season, announcing that defender Vivien Assie Koua is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The new signing from Al Kharitiyat picked up the calf injury at the clubs preseason training camp in Austria, and after being confirmed by the medical team is set to be unavailable for at least six weeks.

Muaither present summer signings
Newly promoted QSL side Muaither welcomed two new professional players to their squad, ahead of the start of their pre-season training. The club had already announced the signing of Uruguayan midfielder Matías Mier, and the former Atletico Renistas midfielder was welcomed to the club by Muaither officials. Whilst the club also announced the signing for Brazilian defender Bruno Aguiar who joined the side on a one year deal from Joinville.
Muaither also confirmed that they have renewed the contract of Jordanian striker Mahmoud Za’tara, who was influential in helping the Falcons get promoted to the QSL for the second time in their history. The club is set to head to Bosnia for their training camp from the August 1st to the 20th of August.

?Weiss and Nemeth join Gharafa training camp
Al Gharafa’s Euro 2016 stars Vladimir Weiss and Kristian Nemeth have joined up with their teammates on the first day of Al Gharafa’s pre-season training camp in Portugual.
The pair, who represented Slovakia and Hungary respectively at Euro 2016 in France, had been given an extended rest by club.
In the first session of the training camp, the squad focused on physical fitness under the watchful eye of head coach Pedro Caixina and his staff. Gharafa will head back to Doha on the 7th of August, where the Cheetahs will ramp up their preparations further ahead of the new QSL season, which is set to start on the 15th of September.
