Qatari leaders send National Day greetings

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables of congratulations to King Philip of Belgium on his country’s National Day.


Qatar-Djibouti
ties discussed


HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi met the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Culture of Djibouti Momin Hassan Barre in Doha yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Qatar and Djibouti and ways of enhancing prospects for co-operation, in addition to issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by officials at the Foreign Ministry.


Minister of State
meets envoys



HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi met with ambassador of the South Korea to Qatar Park Heung-Kyeong, Japan’s ambassador to Qatar Shingo Tsuda and Charge d’Affaires of the US embassy in Qatar, Ryan Gliha.
Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and means of enhancing them and promoting prospects for co-operation, in addition to issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry.


Chief of Staff meets  Pakistani official


HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem met Rear Admiral Mohamed Irfan Tej, Military Attache at the Embassy of  Pakistan to Qatar, on the occasion of assuming his duties.
Talks during the meeting dealt with issues of common interest in the military fields between Qatar and Pakistan and means of enhancing them. 


Tunisian FM meets
Qatari envoy



Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Khemaies Jhinaoui has met Qatar’s ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser al-Hamidi.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations and mutual co-operation between the two brotherly countries, as well as issues of common concern.
