Araco, part of Alfardan Automotive Operations, has been recognised by leading mobile crushing and screening equipment provider Powerscreen with its worldwide Dealer of the Year 2015 award.
Araco was singled out from Powerscreen’s worldwide network of 120 dealers, according to a press statement. The award was given in recognition of Araco’s “significant contribution to the Qatari construction sector, supplying aggregates to government and private sector projects”.
Ma’n Alhamawi, COO of Alfardan Automotive Operations, said: “The group’s strategy is to deliver lifetime superior customer satisfaction by providing quality services at well-established facilities that follow the highest standards. Araco, as part of the group, has embraced this strategy and displayed continuously the utmost dedication to customer satisfaction.”
The award was particularly significant as it coincided with Powerscreen’s 50th anniversary and was the only accolade presented during the celebrations.
Araco’s year of success in Qatar follows a significant period of growth and the company was also recognised as the 2014 Regional Dealer of the Year.
Antoine Azar, Araco general manager, said: “By constantly focusing on our customers' needs, developing new strategies accordingly and introducing the right products to the market, we have managed to achieve this success. The co-operation, determination, time and efforts of the team have made a huge contribution to the success of this dealership.”
Araco sales manager Gaber Morsi added, “We would like to thank our customers, through whom we have succeeded in our quest to be one of the market leaders in the Qatari market.”
The statement notes that Araco has grown steadily in the commercial equipment market through a combination of strategic investments and a strong product portfolio.
Araco’s Powerscreen business provides aggregate solutions for its customers in Qatar. The equipment has been designed to exceed the primary crushing and screening needs of customers in the mining, quarrying and recycling industries.
To meet Qatari customers’ needs, Araco’s 46,000sqm facilities are fully equipped with a workshop and parts store led by a team of skilled technicians and parts personnel. Customers can rely on "prompt after-sales service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year", the statement adds.
The Powerscreen crushing machine offers different applications: the jaw, cone and impact crusher. Its main function is to crush big boulders into small pieces, which are turned into aggregates and sand.
The Powerscreen screening machine is responsible for screening aggregates. Within the range, there is a model to suit every application and designed to be easily transported, set up, operated and maintained.
