The Culture Village Foundation Katara has announced the opening of nominations for the third round of Katara Arabic Novel Award 2017. Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara, said that Katara has launched this award as an annual event since 2014. Katara also provides this event with all the necessary support and resources aiming at promoting creativity in modern Arabic literature, in particular the novel. The last date for accepting entries would be December 31, 2016. Meanwhile, a new category was added to this year’s contest for the novels for young adults (12-20 years old).
