The grand Qatar Summer Festival (QSF) that kicked off last week and will go on until August 31 promises to thrill you and your family.
Community gives you a quick glimpse into the programmes, as scheduled by QSF, that you just can’t afford to miss:

Entertainment City
At the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, the QSF Entertainment City features awesome rides, tonnes of games, life-size fun, and even live shows every day. Until August 31, you can Colour Your Summer with a spectacle of fun, creativity and smiles. You can even buy a Fun Pass for QR120 per person. You get to enjoy Colour Your Summer Zone, Live Entertainment, and all the rides for free; and Video Games: 3 free tokens included and QR5 for every additional token; Go-Karting: 3 free rides included and QR 30 for every additional ride.
If you buy an Entrance Only Pass for QR15 per person, you get to enjoy Colour Your Summer Zone and Live Entertainment for free; Video Games: 3 free tokens included and QR 5 for every additional token; and entertainment rides and games from QR5 – 25.
 
Street Madness
This two-day immersive battle between football teams are led by the top influencers of the Middle East: Bugatti, Sewar Shoaib, Muhannad al-Harbi, and Mohammad al-Hamdan. Captain Vs. Captain, Team Vs. Team, an enthusiastic and friendly battle that crowns the new winner a “Street Madness King”. Each captain will motivate his audience with his skills and talent. Street Madness also includes great performances, such as Sand Art by “Hajer”, Skate boarding show by “Hasan & Husain”, Dance and music show by “Barbes”, the great rap singer “Quasi”, the great singer “Ayed”, and a cool show by “Sheyab”. This will be on August 12; doors open at 4pm, outdoor event starts at 5pm, and indoor event starts at 8pm, at the Al Gharrafa Sports Club. The ticket prices are VVIP Couch: QR500; Platinum: QR175; Gold: QR125; Silver: QR75; and Bronze: QR25.
 
Qatar Comedy Festival
In its second edition this year, the three-day long Doha Comedy Festival brings together the top 18 comedians in the region. It is a one-of-its-kind event in the GCC and the region. The festival is part of Qatar Summer Festival’s activities to showcase Qatar as an entertainment hub. You can catch some of the finest comedians in the GCC each day of the Comedy Festival, such as Bader Saleh, Fadi al-Shihri, Abdallah al-Saidan, Waddah Siwar, Ahmad al-Shammari, and Hamad al-Ammari on Day 1.
Ibraheem Khairallah, Mohamad al-Qaraawi, Rajai Qawas, Abdelrahman al-Sheikhi, Bashar al-Gazzaf, and Zaid Sowaida on Day 2. Moyayad al-Nufaiai, al-Motassem Tarabzoni, Nickolas Khouri, Ibrahim Saleh, Sheyaab and Mohammad Tamimi on Day 3. The event will be on from August 18 to 21 at the QNCC. Doors open at 7.30pm; the show starts at 8 pm. Single-day ticket prices are Silver QR145; Gold QR195; Platinum QR295; VIP QR395; and Royal QR1000.

Smurfs
As the Smurfs take the stage with A Most Smurftastic Day, you can get your little ones to join Papa Smurf, Clumsy, Smurfette and Brainy Smurf as they find a way to Smurf up your day with lots of singing, dancing, fun and laughs. The shows will be from August 4 to 10 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The schedule for the shows is as follows. Show 1 – Smurfs: 03:30 – 04:00; Break: 04:00 – 04:05; Meet and Greet: 04:05 – 04:20. Show 2 – Smurfs: 06:30 – 07:00; Break: 07:00 – 07:05; Meet and Greet: 07:05 – 07:20. Show 3 – Smurfs: 09:00 – 09:30; Break: 09:30 – 09:35; Meet and Greet: 09:35 – 09:50.
