Sky Jewellery has hosted a ceremony in Doha to give away prizes to the winners of its grand summer promotion. Bangladeshi national Mohamed Abdur Razzak (coupon No 65239), who won a Mercedes-Benz in the promotion, received the car’s key from Group general manager Cyriac Varghese at the ceremony. Two winners with five gold sovereigns each, five winners with two sovereigns each and another five winners with one sovereign each also received their prizes in the ceremony held at Sky Jewellery’s showroom, HBK signal. Also present at the event were Sky Jewellery regional managers P K Mohan and Tom C Jacob, Al Khalij Commercial Bank head of corporate and international banking Mian Ehsanullah and relationship manager Samuel Varma, along with customers, well-wishers and other guests. Sky Jewellery had earlier announced two Mercedes-Benz cars and 125 sovereigns of gold for the three regions of Doha, Dubai and Muscat as part of the promotion. The giveaways for the Doha region included one Mercedes-Benz car and 25 sovereigns. “We believe in transparency. The big prizes will also enhance the lives of at least a few winners,” said Babu John, managing director of Sky Jewellery. “This was a great moment for the bank to witness such celebrations of the Group in the region,” said Ehsanullah.
