In praise of Younis Khan

Dear Sir,

Younis Khan is a legend in cricket. You can’t watch him playing and think any different. You can’t read the stats related to his performance any other way. His 32 centuries are the highest number of Test centuries by a Pakistani.
It is said that class is permanent and form is temporary and that is so true of Younis Khan. He has plenty of records under his belt. Khan, as said earlier, has the most Test centuries by a Pakistani. He also has six double-centuries in Tests (again the highest by a Pakistani together with Javed Miandad). He has scored a hundred against every Test-playing nation. He holds the record for most catches in Test cricket for Pakistan. He averages over 50 at home, away and in neutral venues.
There are so many images of Khan that will always remain fresh with you: Khan raising his bat, smiling on the way off the field, winning a Test, saving a Test, or just enjoying his time out in the middle.
Yet, for all this passion, Khan just plays cricket.
Occasionally, people may not be happy with his public statements but then he wouldn’t be a Pakistani cricketer if some people didn’t irrationally hate him. Or love him. But most just love him.

Beyond human comprehension

Dear Sir,

The massive crop circles discovered by a farmer in Germany recently defy earthly logic. An explanation is beyond human comprehension. These formations were created by forces, within our solar system, I’m sure.
Some people regard UFOs as science fiction. But the truth is that UFOs are a cosmic reality.
Sighting of UFOs cannot be put down to misidentification of conventional aircraft or satellites because, such objects predate the beginning of powered flight.
When one takes away the 90% of which can be put down to fraud, hoax or hysteria, we remain left with a body of human testimony the size of which the combined governments of the world cannot bury.
Add to that the physical evidence, the radar blips, the still photographs, the cine footage, not to mention radiation, blast areas and other damage caused by alien landings, and the case for UFOs is proven beyond question.
