Home fashion brand THE One is offering its new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection.
As the nature trend is big in décor this season, THE One has picked up on it with “sublime delicacy” in the new home fashion collection, the company has said in a press statement.
“Leafy ‘Sunshade’ wallpaper in soothing pastel mint green creates the unique backdrop for the elegantly feminine Opulent style. Whispery whites, comforting creams and tranquil taupe, with suggestions of old gold and subtle silver highlights, round out the colour palette,” the statement explained.
The mood is “cool, calm and collected, yet distinctly luxurious, exuding an air of understated opulence”. Glamorous mirror finishes can be seen in modern classic furniture pieces like the dining and coffee tables, side table, console and chest of drawers, while suede-like microfibre adds sumptuousness to the upholstered bed, stool and bedside tables.
“With the exception of satiny mint green scatter cushions, the lushly layered bedding is very much a rich, creamy tone-on-tone affair with a fluffy, flokati-inspired throw stealing the show. In contrast, the sleek-lined fabric sofa, in the palest shade of mint, is conservatively dressed up with a few strategically placed off-white cushions, to keep the look clean,” it added.
Lighting in the form of graceful ceramic-based table lamps and a stylish shaded chandelier create cosiness, while accessories in clear glass, mother of pearl and silver add personality. A few bunches of “forever fresh” Magnolias and a couple of blossom trees “complete the look, giving a final nod to nature”.
