Harman Kardon’s JBL and AKG brands have been recognised with three 2016-2017 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) awards, Qatar distributor Video Home & Electronic Centre announced yesterday.
The awards are for European high-end headphones: AKG N90Q headphones, European mobile headphones: JBL Reflect Mini Bluetooth headphones, and European mobile speaker: JBL Charge 3 Portable Bluetooth speaker.
Technical experts from 45 leading specialists’ magazines across 23 European countries have voted 59 products best in their category. Harman has won more than 200 global awards over the past four years.
To win an EISA award, products are first intensely tested at the test facilities of EISA member magazines. This is followed by a voting at EISA’s annual General Meeting.
AKG N90Q, which boasts of an on-board digital signal processor with a closed-back design deploys TruNote technology that uses microphones located within the headphone capsules to automatically correct the frequency response for the ears of any listener.
There is also active noise cancellation, a choice of three sound modes and a built-in DAC fed by a micro USB input, also used to recharge the internal battery.
Harman Kardon, JBL & AKG products are available across Jumbo Electronics showrooms, Spark Lifestyle Electronics and leading hypermarkets in Qatar.
