Traffic diversion at Civil Defence R/A

A temporary traffic diversion will be in place at the Civil Defence Roundabout from Friday until Sunday morning.
For motorists coming from Mohamed bin Thani Street, the left lane leading to Onaiza Street will be closed while the other two lanes will remain open to traffic.
For those from the Medical City Intersection, the left lane leading to Khalifa Intersection will be closed while the other two lanes will remain open to traffic.
Drivers coming from Khalifa Intersection can only turn right onto the Medical City Intersection, and drivers coming from Onaiza Street can only turn right onto Mohamed bin Thani Street (as shown in the map).
The temporary diversion is being made for completing the works to convert the Civil Defence Roundabout into a signalised intersection, which is part of the fifth phase of the Development of Intersection and Roundabouts project in several areas in the Municipality of greater Doha. The project aims to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion in major areas.
