Footwear brand Dune Men’s has brought together a collection for Autumn/Winter (AW) 2016 that “mixes the traditional with the functional and sits classic staples alongside updated new shapes”.
This has been announced by fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate Apparel Group in a press statement.
Urban Gent is this season’s take on the formal trend, the statement notes. “Detailing comes in the form of hardware such as buckles, metal snaffles and Saffiano texture. Tonal textures vary from black through to bordo, chocolate brown and midnight blue.”
The Stornaway trend shifts focus to a more rugged and casual feel for AW16. The hiker is a key profile within this collection, with more functional details such as ski-hooks, cleated soles and padded collars used to set the look. Brogue and Chelsea boots also feature, in warm autumnal shades of burgundy, rust and brown while rich, pebbled leathers and contrasting fabric panels provide multiple textures.
Neptune Rising is a smaller capsule trend that brings updated elements on sportier styles. Sneakers are produced with hi-shine leathers in new shades of forest green and deep oxblood. “Simplistic and easy to wear, these styles will complement the urban office wardrobe as well as a more traditional casual look,” the statement adds.
