Qatar Haj mission yesterday completed its preparations in Makkah to receive pilgrims from the State of Qatar.
The mission is working around the clock to prepare for the arrival of 1,200 pilgrims this year.
The mission is supported by many units, including a public relations, medical and IT. Each unit co-ordinates with the other to ensure provision of best services to the pilgrims.
The mission is based at a 13-storey headquarters in Makkah that includes offices and medical clinics.
The mission stressed the importance of taking all necessary medical and hygiene measures to prevent the spread of diseases.
Pilgrims from Qatar will get prompt medical attention, the mission added.
The role of the mission is to provide the necessary care to all pilgrims from the State during their visit and ensure their safety and well-being.
