Action initiated against cement pump truck driver

Al Mazrouah Wildlife Unit of the Department of Environment Protection, Protectorates, and Wildlife at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has spotted a driver of a cement pump truck evacuating his cargo at undesignated area at Al Mazrouah. Accordingly, legal procedures against the violator were initiated.

The patrols of Al Khor Wildlife Department of Environment Protection, Protectorates, and Wildlife at MME have also spotted some nylon fishing nets.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) Human Resources Department, the administrative development and training section will resume its training programme to qualify MME employees starting from September.
A number of 18 specialised training courses will be convened in the fields of modern management, law enforcement, report writing, management and organisation of work, electronic archiving, planning skills and work planning. Besides, other training courses to improve employers' performance based on the training requirements and specific municipalities and other MME departments.
MME human resources department director Jabr Abdulla al-Atiyah said that the department is currently working on preparing the training plan for 2017 taking into consideration the merger of the Ministry of Municipality and the Ministry of Environment.
The department also has conducted 30 training courses for staff from January this year until August, with 709 employees taking part in them. In addition, 11 other training courses were conducted with 167 participating.
