Some 110 abandoned vehicles, equipment and boats were removed by Al Wakrah Municipality and 24 by their owners in August. This comes as part of an ongoing clean-up campaign conducted by the Services Affairs and Municipal Control sections at the municipality, during which a total of 306 abandoned vehicles, equipment and boats were detected. Meanwhile, 170kg of fish were destroyed at the Al Wakrah fish market after being found unfit for human consumption by the Al Wakrah Municipality.
